Strong, fundamental techniques of writing are important to a student’s success. Brown School, working to meet increased demands for better writing skills, has launched a resource center for students who live in all areas of the Capital Region. The goal of the Writing Center is to provide individualized instruction to meet every student’s unique needs. The writing center will continue to assist individuals in all grades and all ages while focusing on the following key areas:

  • Writing Process
  • Creative Writing
  • Advanced Placement Preparation
  • Personal Statements/College Essays
  • College Preparation/Aptitude Tests
  • Research Paper/Term Paper (high school and college)
  • Communication skills
  • Strengthen all areas of writing – Levels: Elementary Schools – College
  • GED preparation
  • Business writing
  • Technical Writing
